Case of beer

Dad why?
why do you have to make stupid mistakes?
everyone knows you don't drink that much and then take NyQuil.
you were in the car with me two hours before what if you passed out while you were driving?
i had to call 9-1-1 it was the most horrifying thing i had to do.
everyone was in your room when the medics were there, i stayed in my room and cried until i fell back to sleep.
then you woke me and told me "sorry" thats bull if you were really sorry you would prove it by never taking another drink again.
too bad there was a case of beer in the house two days later,
why dad, why can't you live without it?
