A SINCERE EFFORT

OCT.23 1989

I have written many poems
To express the way I feel.
Many from A broken heart
One so slow to heal,

Some tell of the pain I have
Some tell of the sorrow,
Others Tell of (BRIGHTER DAYS)
the promise of a brighter tomorrow,

Some tell of my hopes and dreams
and guide me through my day.
Others are the words I choose
When I kneel and pray.

Some tell of the lover I had
And the love I want to give.
Others tell of my lessons learned
And how I want to live.

Some tell where I've been
And where I want to go.
Others tell of knowledge gained
That I once did not know.

Some tell of nothing but
The thought of a beautiful day.
But all are just a sincere effort
At what I have to say

Jim you are the deepest man I now. Your emotions run the full gamut of what you feel and think.
