Little angel in the fall--
She brings happiness to all;
She met a little boy one day
And thought she'd follow in his ways.
Winter comes, and then she finds
That little boy left her behind.
He threw some stones and broke her heart
Then also ripped her wings apart.
The snow it melts, she feels the pain;
She doesn't want to smile again.
She'd trusted all those mean boy's lies,
But now sits in the snow and cries.
Another boy, he comes outside--
His heart is pure, which he's known by;
Her eyes met his, brown like a fawn's,
"Look, an angel--but her wings are gone..."
These two grew closer as did spring,
And then by April, he'd fixed her wings.
She felt at home in his embrace;
He produced the smiles on her face.
Summer drew near, as did their hearts,
And now it's hard to keep them apart.
Their love is strong--a three-cord braid,
And with God as Center, it shall not fade.
The autumn takes them by surprise;
They know what it can symbolize--
While he thanks God for the girl he helped mend,
She thanks Him for her sweetheart friend.
