Eleven - Oh Thank Heaven!

**a corny poem celebrating 11 months together**

(a whimsical little poem written by me while I should've been formulating ideas about the Department of Interior's royalty budget)

Blogs, guitar, Fritos chips
Everything at your fingertips
But no, you chose to talk to me.

And I'm so thankful for that day
Sure I was late for school, but hey--
I didn't miss my opportunity!

You've opened up new doors to me
And since I know you hold the key
I know nothing can go awry.

Each day you changed my life forever
More and more of my bonds you severed
And finally, I'm free to fly

I can't help but think in two weeks we'll meet
Those dreams we've shared, finally complete,
And at last, you'll be within my view.

But for now, eleven months ago today,
This is but all that I have to say:
Please know how much I love you....
Oh, how much I so love you....
