Don't you see, he's dead because of me

by she   May 20, 2008

I see him lying there,
He has no life left inside him

I see him lying there
But I can't see him
Just a body put through to much pain

Nurse you say it's my brother but I disagree
That is not my brother
But simply a body

His spirit has died,
It's been beat,
It's given up

Nurse you say
He lives!
His pulse still beats!

But I see what you cannot
My brother is not within this body
My brother is gone.

Nurse your words are messing with my head
Don't you see I didn't save him
He was beat and I didn't stop it

Don't you see he's dead
Because of me!!

[not all true]

He could always wake up, honey.
