Savaged.

by Sean   May 20, 2008

Relentless pursuit, the heart, the chase,
bite to bleed - to kill,
to see those eyes suffer. Disgusting.
Savaging every morsel but never to eat,
ripping, destroying, satisfying,
piece by piece, your future discarded.

Tomorrow, a mere shadow of the prey you once were,
grows jealous - he's savaging another,
ripping apart another, but this time, he eats,
while the buzzards fly right past.
