R.I.P Love

Love went missing the other day, We couldn't find em'
Poster's posted up by the worried who really wanted em'
but love was gone, I mean no where to be found
Love was being abused; wanted to be loved but we refused.
Hate killed love and jealousy back stabbed his own friend
Envy was so envious that he wanted love to be at his own end.
So there love laid, shot in the back by envy, jealousy and hate

Love was young but perished before our eyes.
wanted to be saved, yet had nowhere to hide.
SO there love laid six feet in a tomb with just words
Words that meant NOTHING
but if we befriended love and allowed him to penetrate in our hearts
It would have been SOMETHING.

Love? no love doesn't live here, we've searched way too late.
So we cry at night, depressed; "loving" jealousy and hate
Selfish, we condemned his death, better yet we
WE KILLED LOVE!
We endured jealousy, while we forced ourselves to not trust
We lived in a world of envy, without love..
Hate burns in our eyes, we stopped caring for our brothers
Deceived, maybe we were; so we let hate influence us to despise one another

In the eyes of a young child hope grows, but he witnesses his parents cheat
Trying to unite the two, then realizes he can't; lonely he lyes in defeat.
Another chance for the revival of love but we raise our children in the wrong environment.
New love quits his job and goes into an early retirement.
So who takes his place, but Envy, jealousy, and, Hate?
Yet i thought love conquered all...
But with no faith, while we live in a world with just hate, Then whatever rises has it's fall.

So R.I.P. love, and live on hate, terrorize and diminish our souls
Pierce deceit in our hearts, and kill our goals
Just understand, that love dies, each in every time it tries to revive in young eyes
it's no surprise that our selfishness once again strikes tears and love cries
Then dies...
But this time he dies for good...
