We've always had a dream of dying at the bottom of an ocean
We're a two-way street and we don't know how to not collide
But it's the danger that pulls us aside and slaps us to death
Too many screen doors were slammed when we were kids
And now we're dying because we close them too often
Life was so much better when you didn't walk out every chance you got
And moments lasted when you thought them out and didn't rush
We're caught up in petty world that expects a miracle out of us
But let me tell you, we were better off at the bottom of an ocean
