Rapture

by andhereIstand   May 21, 2008

I knew the time would come-
I knew happiness, bliss,
couldn't last forever.
Now with every harsh word
with every threatening tone
all I see
all I feel

Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....

A slamming door, a stifledsob
no one to hear, no one to bother
wiping my eyes as everything flows
what was is gone
a memory in just one night
as I

Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....

breaking hearts, broken dreams
you can't turn back, the hands of time
hwat's been said, it's said and done
and theres nothing more to do
but...

Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....

and when slick rains fall
and hail tumbles;
you can't take it back
you can neevr take it back
because I

Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....

can you feel it?
Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....
it crashes, shards, breaking
Feell my rapture
fall to pieces-
sun and stars shatter
the laughter scatter-
a lonely night
a thousand shed tears
and I
I feel my rapture
fall to pieces
in front of me....

    Well written...
the words and the metaphors used are wonderful...
but somewhere I felt the repetition could be minimised...
    overall a nice read..

    one typo
'you can neevr take it back'
    neevr=never

    keep writing.. :)
