Bitter memories

by Silent Angel   May 21, 2008

ON a mountaintop so high,
where shes always wanted to be,
dreaming of the one thing she wants most,
that is for love to set her free.
She wonders what shes done
to deserve a hate like this,
the emotionless face that dear
sent away her bliss.
He shattered all her feeling,
broke her halo, and spread it througout
her wondering mind that was dazed
at the smile should couldnt live without.
Shes tempted to walk away,
to bear this pain no more,
to lie and say shes fine,
just to turn and walk out the door.
But the risk of him following,
and never escaping her sight,
to taunt her bitter memory,
and to keep her heart from flight.
