Seperation

by vikk   May 21, 2008

Confusing feeling I still have
I miss you but I still feel the pain
Of you leaving me behind
Into this world to work things out.
You left too soon.
A daughter should always have a mother
To love and support and to care
All those softball games I had
I with that you were there.
Getting ready for homecoming
I longed to see your smile
And to tell me that I look beautiful.
They say I look just like you
Long dark hair and piercing green eyes
that could look into your soul.
But a mistake was made when I was born.
Not meant to be kept a secret.
I hope that when I learn to fly
I won't fly away like you did.
Instead I want to fight the wind
Remember everything I've learned.
I wish I was taught by you in a way,
but then again I don't.

I know that this is my own poem. But I would like to say this is one of my favorite ones.
