Think Things Through

by Elliott Lica   May 21, 2008

I see into their eyes and know something different,
Their eyes tell me something is approaching,
To be weary...

I play it calm and wait,
Suddenly they become violent,
a slight click, a quick swing, and they stop,

Blood covers their hand as the knife is removed,
to their knees, then to the ground, their eyes go still,
to betray someone can come at a high price,

I walk away, and not one tear of anything leaves my eyes,
I have already forgotten them, they are no more...

Sometimes people should think about what they do,
And think about what someone else will do as well,
Things dont always go one way,
Sometimes people should be less rash...
Because sometimes you bite off more than you can chew...
leaving you quite ill...
