Sad 2 say I'll miss you

by Dawn aka Dominique   May 21, 2008

Skool, you've put me through hell these past 9 months
Life at Plymouth would have never compared
As much as I hated you, and wanted to walk out
I leave you with appreciation upon info you've shared.

Dance, talents no one can steal
I strive to be the best week by week
As final weeks come, and recitals start to arrive
A proud applaud from the crowd, is what I come to seek

Myself, I never let anyone come close to me,
Scared of being me, Scared of being hurt
But now I open up to you showing you who I am,
Crossing both fingers and hoping this will work.

Kaynen, you've been a homie from the start,
And you are always the one I truly miss
We've gone our separate ways now,
But forever will I remember that one last kiss.

Jas, My one and only big sis',
I turn to you in times of need or sometimes just to chat
But lately we've just been so wrapped up
But you're my #1 girl and no one can ever change that.

Chris, we've shared such great times this past year
Stupid things I've said gave you reasons to boast
But I have to say you're always the one to be a team player
And just between us, you're the one I'll miss the most.

Deovyonne, you're always the one to keep me smiling
But I have to say I'm not ready to let you go
And this whole time I've constantly doubted you
Of doin' what they said, it was a lie, and now I know.

In 3 months we'll be off to high Skool,
And our egos will probably be through the roof
But I love you guys so much
Especially the times where we would goof.

I know this may sound sappy
And you're probably rolling your eyes
But my feelings for you guys are true
And it all comes from inside.

This poem was excellent, it showed me that you shared some wonderful times in high school with some pretty amazing people this year that you'll never forget and will always hang on to. it was a nice shout-out sorta poem in which you mentioned each one of your friends who made your year in high school worthwhile. the rhyming was pretty good i thought, it didnt seem too forced or anything.. so nice job right there. good job overall. 5/5.
