As Cold As Hell Itself

by Krissymkitty   May 22, 2008

Agony rips through
As her claws tore his wings
His bare chest bleeding
His pants are ripped and torn
And his hands and feet are chained
He tries to fly away
He tugs and tugs
Pulls and pulls
As she runs at him again
He can't get free
He can't pull the chains
From the Earth

(The cold, winter wind is blowing
Fresh snow upon the ground
Almost enough to cover the grass
The moon is full
And the trees are bare)

She hit him from behind
Made him fall on his face
Into the painfully cold snow

He lied there as she turned him over
Her eyes are icy blue
And as cold as hell itself
Her claws are drenched
In his blood
As she raised her hand
And struck him across the face
He winced in pain
As she grinned
And struck him again

His face was torn
His eyes...tear filled
When she went to strike again,
He thought it would be the end
But luck flew his way,
And she missed him
And got the chain
Her claws so sharp
That the chain had broke

One bloody arm free
And hatred in his eyes
He swung that torn up hand
And pushed her to the side

(He could have killed her
Could of grabbed her neck
But, couldn't)

She stumbled back
And looked at him
He was standing, barely,
Prepared to hit

She looked at him
Astonished and angry
She stepped closer
And saw him wince
She took his hand
And gave him a kiss

He looked at her
Through bloody eyes
And saw her pain and sorrow
That she felt inside
All that hate
All that sorrow
She held inside
Until today

She held his hand
As she unlocked the chains
Then put her hands
Upon his wounds

She healed him up
And let him go
Then Turned around
To return back home

When she felt a tap
On her shoulder
She turned around
And he kissed her

She loved him so
And he loved her
But she didn't know
How it would end

She was taught
To kill off
Any feelings
She almost had
But then she couldn't
She had broke his chain
To let him go
But he said to her
That the worst torcher
He had ever endured
Was WHEN she let him go...
