Signed a Sinner ((another car crash))

by StandStill   May 22, 2008

Can you read the popular soveirnty,
the clash between a heart and mind?
Tug-of-war realities crash like waves
upon wrists blasphemies are signed

Fall asleep into the love song
so that nightmares penetrate the still air
honeysuckle of summer twirls in candle smoke
faded like memories of when you where there

Too many times car crashes splay out
spilling out from the scenes of poetic rhymes
but ne'er a bystander looks away,
not from the pulsing death-lights flashing by

Hear the sirens screaming "save me"
shattering the gauzy silence of the world
awry are the promises and dreams of liars
broken are the hearts of worthless girls
