As I once said before in another poem I wrote
"All we need is our love, some rain and sunshine in order for us to grow"
So I'll gladly build you a palace, where we can eat off silver platters
And as long as were happy, and we got balance, nothing else really matters
You keep me smiling with your intelligent and positive mind
And the arguments that express what you have concealed inside
Which helps us both to grow and realize what needs to be changed
In order for this to work, otherwise we'll end up parting ways
Were not perfect, and I'm glad, cause to much sunshine ain't always pleasant
Too much sun and no rain is bad, and it eventually forms a desert
So it's good to have some balance, where nothings really ever perfect
If that weren't true than nothing would really ever be worth it
We couldn't grow, and find out new things about each other
Resulting in us getting bored, and moving on to another
Theres so much we already know, but we just read the cover
Theres still a whole novel of information to discover
Unlike when we were younger, when you couldnt find commitment
Even coming out our mouths, let alone giving only one our kisses
Now were all about trust, loyalty and honour to our love interest
Well not everyone is like this but with us its truly different
Cause there isnt another couple quite like us who are as persistent
With keeping our passion strong, no matter what the others interest
Its exciting and fun for both, which I think is the deciding factor
Why people get jealous when they watch us like a movie with their favourite actors
As long as were happy, and we got balance, nothing else really matters
