Own Skin

by Confessions   May 22, 2008

Why does it seem like such a disstant nearly impossible dream?
to wake up and find it all different somehow
I'm lost without my self-etseem
What am I supposed to do now?

They say it doesn't even matter.
That what matters is the inside
They're don't really mean it anyway
It's just what everyone learned to say
But what they said is really right
That's when you can't even rest at night
knowing you hate being in your own skin
And if you can't even like yourself enough, how are you ever gona let anyone in?
