Bittersweet misery

by Aliah   May 22, 2008

Waiting on your presence
Rewind those memories
Those moments - pure agony.
Yet, this heart still beats for you
This tormented soul feeds on your unrequited love.

Bittersweet misery I may call it
You see joy in my pain.
Tear this heart apart,
Let me feast on the beauty of your smile.

As I lay here waiting,
Waiting on the day you'd love me
My heart cries with the raindrops
Its wound left opened, never to heal.
