You've won the war, but at what cost?

by Stephanie   May 22, 2008

You don't know what you have done
you've broken her down piece by piece
you took away the good in her life
because of you the learning has ceased

she tried to be kind, she tried to be nice
but because of you she is cold as ice
she tried to be honest and tell you the truth
to show you the world while you're still in your youth

but you wouldn't listen
you just didn't care
you shoved her aside
you didn't play fair

( this poem was written about a "war" that has been going on between one of my teachers and a bunch of her student...the "her" in this poem is my teacher....the"you" is the students that lack respect and the ability to look from someone else's point of view and to see why they have done what they did)
