Hysteria

by xToBeWithYoux   May 22, 2008

Here it comes, her end has arrived,
disturbed thoughts echoing in her mind.
She can feel the walls closing in on the dark,
mixture of blood and black making her blind.

"Run, little girl, run for a knife.
Tonight will be the end of your life."

Scars on her body remind her of it,
she knows that this is the end of the line.
Familiar voices conversing in her head,
she won't escape alive this time.

"Scream, little girl, but no one can hear.
I can smell your sweat and fear."

Whispers of torture are all she can hear,
so she grabs the knife from the shelf.
Plunging the blade deep into her side,
she realised she was running from... herself.

"Die, little girl, watch your blood spill.
Watching you die, it's such a thrill."
