Anti cutting

People cut themselves,
They say it eases their pain.
But why they really do it,
Is for attention gain.
Ive been there, I've done that,
Theres no way I'm ever going back.
You do it because you want help,
You don't realize the pain you've dealt.
What about your friends,
Do they deserve you being in that trend.
The scars last forever,
Fade away they shall never.
For cutting scars you body and mind,
The many painful memories you will never leave behind.
I'm not doing this to be mean,
Just where you are I've been.
I'm sorry that your hurt so deep,
But when you know a friends cutting its impossible to sleep.
If I can stop cutting so can you,
There are other things you can do.
