Dear Storm,

by Jennifer RIP Lesthat Hayden   May 22, 2008

Dear Storm,
I will not speak your true name in fear
of letting others know who you are.
You're close to my heart; I hold you dear.
You're right next to me though you are far.

Right away we found we were connected.
Studying people and helping them out.
What we discovered was unexpected.
All of these years, how did I live without?

You know how easily attached I get.
I used to feel things too soon and so deep.
But now, those feelings I do not permit.
It's not wrong to think of you before sleep.

When I find a friend so alike and sincere
I keep them with me for many hours of the day.
Storm, your sweet soul and pretty name I revere.
I just want you to know I won't let you fall away.

For the happy and sad times, I will be there;
Catching your falls and letting you fly.
Because finding someone like you is quite rare.
Worst part of my day is saying bye.

So yeah, I sound strange and maybe obsessed.
I know many would find this friendship bizarre,
but you know what I mean and you're the best.
It's hard to describe, but you know who you are.

Well, there is my ramble for all to see.
I can't wait for you to read this.
I hope one day you will come see me.
Till we meet you are who I miss.

Love,
Jennifer <3
