Silken Tangerine

by Indian Comma Bean   May 23, 2008

Lovers tongues a fleshed bridge,
Martyrs to a righteous cause
To spread the love
Of a couples council.

Embossed in beauty; Heavy hearts
With feathered assistants,
Fluttering; Bearing crowns of Iris,
Garment of silken tangerine.

Meeting here in Nature's throne,
Heart of the forest in maps unknown.
Shrouded in a canopy of crimson and gold,
They dance astray; Mesmerized by euphoria.

I kinda need a dictionary for this one, awesome choice of words! It turned the poem into a short fairy tale. Great job!
