Tell Me

by Curing the Comon Cliche   May 23, 2008

Tell me, Dear Reader
Do you hear my heart beat loud?
Tell me, Dear Reader
Can you feel me breathing now?
Tell me, Dear Reader
Are you feeling cold?
I think I see you shaking
Tho I'm afraid to hold
Tell me, Dear Reader
Do you want to let go?
I know that we have to
All these mixed signals that you show
These poems aren't poems
The way poems are meant to be
These poems are just me talking
Poems should make you see
Tell me, Dear Reader
Did I open anyone's eyes?
Did I open your heart?
Make you wonder what's inside?
So tell me, Dear Reader
Do you hear your heart bead loud?
Should I hug you a little closer?
Can you feel me breathing now?

umm.... :]
