Mirror Of Refelction!

by Dina   May 23, 2008

Clenching to the ardent chains of fire
as the throbbing agony in her eyes evoked,
the debilitated young girl shook her head
as she endeavored to save her father's soul

And in that little mirror hanging on the wall
the keen eyes of whom she loved,
urged a transcendent wind
that engraved incessant thoughts

Drained inside that garbled mind
lullabies sung still undefined
whispering calls blended too
as death emerged while it flew

Still, right there from behind
the brutal soul stood with jeering eyes
and an impelling lust for the shed of blood,
revealing all the cryptic puzzles of the night

Waiting, was he for the clamorous sounds of midnight
to satisfy his thirsty veins,
and to announce the end of a darling world
that was never meant to perish as it drained

Promptly his patience died
thrusting his hands away from his thighs
up to that man's head he drove,
a gun loaded with desperate sighs

Instantly innocence screamed,
the moment she woke up from her dream
staring with doleful eyes at her dear
that lied beside shields of angels guarding near

Broken hearted, sat she beside her world
imagined life without a soul,
noticed anguish in the mirror on the wall
and into an illusion she wished to fall.
