God won't come

by Rattlehead   May 23, 2008

When chaos runs through the streets
society begins to crumble
all we lived for has vanished
we expect someone to save us from ourselves
but there will be no savior
we will reap what we have sown
and God won't come

killed one to many
killed to many children
we wanted too much
betrayed by are own greed
what was the point of money?
we replaced God with a dollar bill
so god won't come

pride too high to see what's so close
not looking down
not knowing where we step
and we fall into a pit
never lending out a helping hand
so we will not receive a hand
no help, God won't come

sickness is upon the winds of death
breathe it in and your doomed
left alive to suffer on
all are sins are being paid back
war before the gates of heaven
turned a peaceful man violent
for this crime god will not come

God have mercy
it's hell trying to live
but we'll go to hell if we die
we screwed up no second chance
we know why we were left behind
but please i don't want to stay here
but I know God won't come
