Another victory for a fraud angel
One meek prey had fallen
To its unperceivable trap

One huge celebration
Will be held again
At the vacant temple

Sacrificing one meek heart
Throwing it to the blazing pyre
Offering it to the god of broken love

**this is an old piece.. A story of a woman who have been decieved by a man, making her believe that he loves her so much.

    Wow! That was soo beautiful. I loved it and it is about my favorite subject - Deception. I don't know why it is; you can just write so many good poems about this subject, right?! And everyone can relate to them. So good job on this one!! 5/5
