Letting Go

by blackheartslove   May 24, 2008

Bound to roam this earth alone
Searching for her love
She haunts these empty shores
Crying out in the still of the night

The moonlight reflection on the sea
Her gown flows in the breeze
Wading out into the deep
Her salty tears run with the tide

The cold fingers of the sea
Grasp her broken heart
She's binded by this lonliness
It's all he left her with

So she climbs into a golden ship
And circles roung the world
Till she comes to a place o sunshine
Where silver palm trees blow

Finally she sheds her chains
And walks across the sand
Standing beneath a candy sun
She smiles sweetly towards the sky

Lifted by her angel's wings
Light shines in her eyes
Diamonds glitter all around
For she no longer walks alone
