People.

Walking by you see a girl,
do you know what's behind her face?
Walking by you see a boy,
do you see what you can't trace?

You see these people everyday,
do you know what they hide?
People who live in fear,
truth they cannot find.

You look into their eyes,
but do you see their broken soul?
If you search you may see,
things never told.

Boys with drunken fathers,
Girls with broken homes,
Things you shouldn't see,
Things that shouldn't be shown.

For one person,
Things might fall apart,
Take their hand and be their friend,
Give them a fresh start.

I read this one first then "High School" before commenting here. I think the story here is very good. I see it everyday as I work in a High School.
I do think some of the rhymes are (?)forced and that the metre could use a bit of work.
as always these are just my opinions.
