I cant believe its been 3 years since we broke up
Sometimes it feels as if we were never together
Like I made you all up
When I look at our pictures I try my best to remember what it was like
But I cant
I cant remember what it felt like to touch you
Kiss your perfect lips
Smell you skin
And hear your sweet voice
Its all a blur as if we met one time took a whole bunch of pictures and never saw each other again
You never gave me anything to remember you by so all I have is our memories and pictures but the memories seem to be fading and its driving me crazy
I want to remember what it was like being with the man that stole my heart so many years ago
I tired to keep in touch with you but you said no
Your reason for shutting me out was that you love me and will love me forever and can never just be friends with me
I tried and still am trying to accept that but it hard
Because
Even though we are not together anymore and we dont speak I cant stop thinking what use to be
It drives me crazy that I cant get over us
I know that we can never be together just because we are 2 great people that bring out the worst in each other
But believe me when I say that if you were to come up to me today and say Kris lets give it another shot I would say yes without even thinking
I would break off my engagement just to be with you one more time
Its a little sad that I am still in love you but what can I do but hope that in some way you still love me too
