Rose's Blood ((into the abyss))

by StandStill   May 24, 2008

Blackened mirrors laced with lies
pools of creeping ivy
lie in a land of forgotten
on the edge of the gasoline sea

Floating in a life raft
desert waves, drop and rise
stomachs flip-flop rapidly
just to see the lovely Void's size

Desperate lies escape from throats
a million lamentations flung to the wind
sacrifice to an unrecognizable god
blood of the rose- redemption for those who've sinned

Daisies all burned down during once upon a times
forgotten by those who desperately grasp promises
failing, flailing on the brink of reality
terrified of the predestination to fall into the abyss
