To have loved & lost is better than never to have loved at all,
I used to hear I love you all the time
In such soothing words
Feeling the Soothing warmth the voice
But thinking back the soothing was lost
The warm was no longer apparent
I used to hear I love you
Soothing tones
Rest upon my sleepy ears
Bringing warmth to my heart and sole
Hearing so my body rests love skips from head to toe
I used to hear I love you all the time
Hearing the smooth tones of his voice
Thinking back I now see
The smoothness was condescending to my ears
He used to say he loved you all the time
But I donâ??t think he meant it
Maybe in the beginning. His heart was possibly true
But Overtime it became an everyday expression
No uniqueness/ heart jumping but simple gesture
You remember the old saying?
Itâ??s better to have loved & lost
Than to never loved at all.
I disagree with it all
I feel its better to nervier have loved at all
Than have somebody stop saying I love you at all.
