I'm sitting here and thinking
And can't find the words to say
That you're the only one I can love
Each and every day

My heart is heavy and broken
Because now it's too late
You're walking away from me
And I can't change fate

I want to hold you close
But you're just so far away
I can't match the words
For what I want to say

It's you my love
It's always been you
Since day one
You just won't let me through

Now you have someone else
But someone else doesn't work for me
They just don't capture me
Not like you do

I know my words don't follow the standard
Hell, they've even stopped rhyming
But I don't care anymore
Not if you aren't beside me

Tears drench this keyboard
All in your beautiful name
I'm trying to stay strong

I see you with him
It rips me in two
Because that's not supposed to happen
I'm supposed to be with you!

We used to talk about marriage
About kids and a house
But now we don't even talk
And I'm slowly going insane

I don't want to see tomorrow
Unless tomorrow has you
I want to close my eyes forever
And leave behind this pain

Without you I feel crippled
Pathetic and incomplete
So I'll wait for you my darling
Never will I retreat
