Boundaries

by A Fallen Dancer   May 25, 2008

You said you'd never cheat,
And you said you'd never lie
So why does your every word,
Take me so close to the edge?
It's because I know the truth
You make me want to jump
I'm on the verge of falling into you
Yet I have too much self control
I know you can't be telling me facts
It's not what you've said,
It's what I know you've done
So slice apart the deception
And let the freaking romance bleed away
I see you for who you really are
And your every lie makes it clearer
That you're edging me towards my limit
I'm not mad at her,
Because I know you'll break her heart,
The same way you broke mine.
I'm only angry that when your with her,
I'm still thinking about your touch,
And I can't take one more lie.
So now I leave with this last goodbye
And I'm so happy
Because I know you'll now think of me forever
For you will always know,
That it was you,
Who pushed me over the boundary
Into my death.
