I've tried to be the perfect daughter.

but all you could do is sit there.
and tell me wrong is all I've done.

i know I'm nothing special.
you reminded me many times.
but why cant you love me?
if you did. i might be fine.

ill always be your little girl.
ill love you forever more.
but you never wanted me.
you just pushed me out the door

if you decided you weren't going to love me.
you could've gave me up at birth.
then maybe i wouldn't feel like this.
then maybe it wouldn't hurt.

you could at least pretend you care.
you could at least try.
then every night before i go to sleep.
i might not wish to die.
