The Dance Of Winter

by LadyStark   May 26, 2008

Coldness takes away the bliss
Beneath the once-blue vivid sky
The horizon received the darkness' kiss
That swiftly ends the shortening day

Falling snow is soft and light
Embracing the world so still
Roses fade from red to white
Ever silent on the tranquil night

The dance of winter is sorrow yet
It is not but sorrow in serenity dwells
The exquisite dance of wintertime
Heralds the perfection of Christmas tide

First off, love the title, very creative and eye-catching! I loved this stanza the most:

"Falling snow is soft and light
    Embracing the world so still
Roses fade from red to white
Ever silent on the tranquil night"

Loved your description here, really kept me reading. Nice job!
