Searching

Gentle as the summer breeze
Brilliant as the midnight skies.
Lovely as the sweetest rose.
Radiant as the soft sunrise.
Gliding silently above mountain tops
over hills of green and pretty things
across the oceans and the seas
silently on a pair of wings.
A forgotten corpse somewhere lay cold
but mind and spirit still do wander
silently looking for an answer
a love for which its life did ponder.
