Torn

I think many can relate to that...as one can be surrounded by friends and family yet at the same time feel so alone.As for you choice its sad that sometimes in life we can't always do what we want to do.

This poem is form a time where I had to pick between family and the one that I loved on Christmas Eve. I wanted so bad to spend time with her. She was going to be alone. I was not given the freedom of choice. I regretfully had to spend it with family.
