First Ever Poem - Temptation

by FountainsOfBlood   May 26, 2008

~Please... give me the BOTD. I wrote this 3 years ago - when I was 11... It sucks, but meh, someone might like it... this was my first ever poem~

It's a powerful mixture of randomness
Stirred into one.
It's orange and pink and blue,
The taste of peaches; the feeling of peace,
And covered with starlights too.

Maybe it's perfect or horror within
Never underestimate it -
With the look of an angel
Possibly the taste of a devil,
It might be full of sin.

Having one taste of it's beauty
It's like roses; amazingly beautiful
But thorns to dangerous to hold
It's temptation, the temptation.

Was I dreaming? Was I high?
Every colour of the rainbow
Changing to the touch
"Go on! Try it!" The devil exclaimed
Was it worth the risk?

Cheese, peaches, mango's and mustard,
The most revolting thing ever,
It slowly disappeared
Turning to liquidy mush
Temptation is the strongest risk!

~I'm fully aware it's very immature... LOL~
