Why?

Why is life so difficult
why is life a pain
why do i find it so hard
to just smile once a day

i wish it was easier
i wish things would change
its just so that i can
truly smile again

can't everything just go right
for once in a while
it seems that not going to happen
even though it might

cant people just notice
when i say I'm ok its a lie
i just find it easier
to tell people that instead

this is my first proper poem so tell me what you think please

    Life has its ups & downs... dont give up trying to be what u really want to be no matter of difficulties or pain u can face ... i feel that u have so beautiful smile dont hide it maybe the day u keep smiling all life's troubles will melt down .

    Idk about structure and all of a proper poem but i know after reading it, i wasnt trying to figure it out.:) thats what i look for, a glimps in anothers mind.
    about the poem itself, the word you used 'might' is the key. you have to have might to live for the 'might happen' lol
