The Mirror?

by Tyler Durden   May 27, 2008

What you look like doesn't matter to me,
but what you have shown, is everything to me.
I'm falling in love with the girl on show,
I must be falling in love with my computer screen.
So How is it? how does it go?

Today is about thy, and thou.
The here and now.
Today is all fast paces,
Photoshop'd faces,
n airbrushed abs.
With sweet-talkers,
and neat-walkers.

Smooth kids with a taste for passion,
The I-heart-me lot living for fashion.
The lover affairs that are not real.
Its vanity, for you and me they do not feel.

The I'm-saving-my-skin lot don't care.
Well heres the truth, I'm laying it bare.
They're all about themself.
So I'm taking the book off of the shelf.

I am none of these mindless obsessions.
I am just me and my love for you,
those are my worldly possessions.
I put you first, before me, I do.
before anyone, I'm true to you.

Before you judge me,
before the hammer falls.

Just take a look, is it clearer?
Is it your heart that calls?
Or is it just the mirror?

~

To my Ariel.
Heart and Love,
Its all for you.
