I Surrender

by raychul   May 27, 2008

Into the pain that you call love
I surrender my heart and all that is above

My head, my heart, and all my self respect
All into one big package and my self esteem gets lowered with your aspect

Throw my life up in the air
Who would catch it, who would dare

I don't expect sympathy and never wanted it
But you have me begging for forgiveness although you were the one who could never commit

Immaturity, childish, infantile
I can go on; would you like to hear the complete list that I can compile?

So do me a favor, one for the road
Tell me how to love you 'cause I am confused by this burden that upon me you have bestowed

What is right and what is wrong seem very much alike
Bring the pain upon me 'cause at dawn we'll strike

Attacks, crashes, bombing of the heart
Nothing in this world could bring me down like you with the occasional tearing me apart

So let's let it die
Leave it alone for someone else to find

It'll be one of those days where you are awarded with critical acclaim
Cause in the morning nothing will be the same
