The things you do ((sorry I can't save you))

by StandStill   May 28, 2008

Are you so blind that you don't see?
Don't see these tired tears upon my face?
Are you so deaf that you don't hear?
Don't hear me screaming about God's grace?

Did you know I sat on a swing
and prayed so long and hard for you?
Just so you would stop writing sorry,
stop doing these things you do.

And I'm so weak and fallen down,
I'm so sorry I am not amazing enough for redemption.
I can't save you, as I'm finding out,
I'm not big enough to prevent this temptation.

I'm so incapable of praying for myself,
but tears stream down my face for you...
I pray to God you'll see it's wrong,
it's wrong to do these things you do
