How Deep The Swallows Dwell

by Molly   May 28, 2008

I look deep
down into the swells
Where the water runs deep
Into the side
where the girls
cry.

Where she wanted to jump
Leap off
and fly for a moment
Just let her worries
away
Until the plunge comes
to an end
and the water swallows
you deep
with a broken neck
you float
to the dam where you sit
til that little girl comes you finds
you in the quick

So there they sat told
them everything
but they needed to know just
to let everyone go
of the misery of not knowing
Were you really that unhappy
And these feelings
I know you
will never forget
Bystander to A crime
scarred for life
just like
these old rhymes how I wish
That I could tell
How low the swallows of the deep
Dwell
