Well depicted… liked ur ode to roadkill…so many people die every day due to such road accidents…

    ‘Here's to the little bunny
Who didn't get to the other side’

^^ this is touching… I felt very sad when I read these lines…
    Beautifully written…

    Keep writing…

Cute. A weird subject but it was written well none the less. I've never really thought about roadkill until now.. I mean yeah you see it all over the place but do people really care? No. Well at least some. And it's really a sad thing. Anyway.. Great write. 5/5

You catergorized it as funny. Why is it funny? I wasn't quite sure on what to think about this poem because of that...

Stanza 1: The rythm is reasonably good.
"Here's to the stench, the disgust"
I'd delete the comma and add an "and" (heehee).
    Fourth line, too many syllables.

Stanza 2: It made me frown. Poor bunnies.
    "Here's to the little bunny
Who didn't get to the other side"
Simple and to the point. No useless metaphors there. Good.

Stanza 3: I'd say you said smell too many times, and the repetition is annoying. Maybe that's why it's in Funny Poems.

Written in a childish style, as if it were a nursury rhyme, but gruesome and makes you feel bad. A decent job...

    Hmm...

This reminded me of what my speech teacher said one time.

One doesn't start a poem with,
    This is a poem about...

Why would you start one with
This is my ode to roadkill
    ??

    You're said a lot of here's
Maybe you can change that into something more creatively?

I thought the rhymings were quite forced.

But, the story in there is quite true.
When I was in Driver's Ed,
They told me not to stop for small animals.
Or get out the car or something.
So, I guess people DO have to run over some animals.

    ROFL @ this one ..
    super sweet job !
    "..Here's to the little bunny
Who didn't get to the other side.."

    "..Here's to the smelly skunks
And them spraying that awful smell
Here's to smelling that nasty funk
    And asking, "What the hell?.."

cracked me up everytime i read it ..
    -sniff sniff- i smell talent.,,
    ;)

i like how you took a pretty topic as this to write an ode on .. it could actually be a very serious subject.. but its funny as hell.. which is what i really liked ..

Keep up the great work !!

My girlfriend ran over a rabbit, last week. i refer to her now as a murderer. pretty fresh and comical. heres to running it over if you must. seems to ask me for a deeper meaning. or word play. = run over to see the ran over. dont know how that makes you feel but.. its the idea that i got when reading it over and over.
