Sitting in the the backseat of the car
as your brother drives us home
you were so happy after switch
i couldn't bear you down with my problems
ya'll were talking about music
i sat silent
i held in the flood of tears
that threatened to burst out
ya'll didn't notice anything
i wish you had
my silence was just a cry for help
but you didn't notice
so i got out of the car
walked into my house
hoped in the shower
and let the flood of tears
rush like raging waters
will someone ever
