Life without You: by Emily Phillips

by Emily Phillips   May 29, 2008

Our friendship was perfect
Never seemed to have a single fight
I never would have guessed that something was not right.

You and me seemed to be the best of friends
Always talking when we got together
Little did I know that our friendship had its ends.

We always hung out when we got together
Always laughing and joking, never running out of words to speak
I didn't know that it would all break.

Then one day it all ended
We both stopped talking
Instead, we just keep on walking.

It sticks inside my head
Never forgetting what the good times were like
Yet it all sticks at my heart like a spike.

The laughs we shared
The teases we passed
I always thought our friendship would last.

So good friend
I guess it is time to say good bye
I cant help but wonder why.

If you ever want to patch things up
I am truly here
You have nothing to fear.

Don't forget me
I will always remember you
No matter what you do.

All I want is our friendship back
I didn't want it to leave in the beginning
I just hope this has a happy ending.
