The Fall Of Man.

by Spoken Silence   May 29, 2008

The falling of rain drops
Can be the fall of man,
The loss of those who don't understand.
Each and every person,
Falling in different directions,
Taking different paths.
And falling down on to the same ground.

Descending from somewhere way up high,
Only to meet the concrete below.
Each drop free falling with no hope,
No dreams, no intuition of what's to come.
The showers of depression,
The roaring of anger,
The light of jealousy.

Why does a storm resemble this so?
How can the effects of it get stronger as time goes by?
Can this ever be lessened? Or weakened?
I believe not, for the fall of man cannot be stopped,
Not by a sun that shines after a storm.
Or the beauty of a rainbow can fix.
The fall of man is inevitable,
It is something that will never be stopped.
