What the mirror saw
Was something quite revealing,
Two lovers hiding their true feelings.

What the mirror saw
Shone light upon desire,
And light the burning fire.

What the mirror saw
Gave faith to their emotions
Of something deeper set in motion.

What the mirror saw
Spurned on their little secret,
Which had been buried in conceitment.

What the mirror saw
Was of a true love knowing,
