Waiting for the right time

To some my birthday was just a day
to others it is already over
but to all this i say nay
to me its scarce begun

you might think it's happened and done,
you might just let it be
and let it end with no fun
well lets just wait and see

even though my birthday is past
and others are putting me down
i stand high like a ships mast
and smile, with everyone else's frown

it has yet to be made up
we can't turn back time
our schedules just have to flip flop
am i being a mime?

my feelings are right here,
i wish we could still do something
but you are not near
it's been too long

i'm tired of waiting
your mind does not know my thoughts
tired of your debating
tired of these feelings you brought

when is our time going to be?
soon? we'll have to wait and see

**i wrote this when i was pretty mad, the entire flow doesn't go at all, but it let out my feelings at the time**
